High Country 31, Columbus 15 (or so)

Scores and Stats Congratulations on a hard fought win over Columbus on Saturday. The score being 31-15 or so. According to most, we played in there half of the field most of the game. They scored late, and we answered, and played some of the best Rugby this team has played lately.

Without a true or experienced tight 5 player, we played a great game. Most everyone played out of position, and played well.

Man of the Match go to Doug "Combover/Stunt Prop". And I quote, " He was everywhere". Congrats Doug, keep it up!

With a front row of Combover, Billy, and Wonderboy/College student/How much for Chocolates ?, PK played his 1st game @ Hooker. And needed an IV after the game. It must be that High Country conditioning at work.

Breaking in some new wing forwards, Tommy and Ronnie played well. The backs loved having Tommy in support of the "Back Line", " he created many overloads"!

According to Good Mitch, "you could see the fear in there eyes when the ball came out to the backs".

Christian played outside center, and tackled well too.

Great game by all! Way to bounch back!

Please call someone and get them out to practice.
