Come join us for 7s (Olympic format) rugby this summer! Practices begin May 3 as we prepare for tournament play. We would like to welcome back our team members and encourage those without a Sevens club or who are new to the sport to consider joining High Country as we provide an opportunity to enjoy some great rugby in the Atlanta area.

Team Boil and Awards Ceremony - June 3rd-5th - High Country Adventures!
HCRFC’s Biggest Social Event of the Year. A must-attend event for all current and former players, WAGs and friends of the team. Alright, it’s that glorious time of year again. Time to dust off your overalls and prepare for one of the best weekends of the year. Once again we’ll be at High Country Adventures where we’ll have rafting, an amazing low-country boil, live music, and more beer than you can shake a stick at.
- Party Fee: $27.50 by May 1st. $44 afterwards.
- Rafting on Saturday: Approx. $38 Per Person. Includes River Fees. Ask for 9:30am or 12:30 pm time slot.
- Camping: Approx. $6 Per Person Per Night

Spring 2016 Practices Begin January
First Spring rugby practice is scheduled for January 5 at Central Park in midtown Atlanta. Per Coach Nico “Practice starts one week from today, hit the road, hit the gym, hit somebody I don’t care, get in shape before it’s too late!!!”

2015 Holiday Party - Commerce Club - December 11
Ladies and Gents, to end the year and to mark our 40th Anniversary as a rugby club in Atlanta, High Country Rugby Football Club will be hosting our holiday party at the Commerce Club in downtown. The cost of the party is $30 per person for apps and an open bar. For another $20 you can ride from the Brewhouse round trip on a Party Bus. Cocktail Attire at the Commerce Club… but once we’re back at the Brewhouse, have your best ugly sweater for the chance to win 2 tickets to the premier of Star Wars.

2015 Little 5 Points Halloween Parade – Atlanta, GA
As the club looks back we get to celebrate a great 2015 with a strong record, compiled while embracing the spirit of the game both on and off the field. We get the opportunity to enjoy the offseason together and celebrate the holidays with some great events! The Little 5 Points Halloween Parade once again lived up to expectations as the club built and entered an awesome float, complete with cartoon characters from our childhoods.

We are proud to have partnered with the Brewhouse Cafe to celebrate the 2015 Rugby World Cup and all the excitement and action it brings! High Country Alumni Weekend - 40th Anniversary Celebration
High Country Alumni weekend was a blast and a great way to start the Fall 2015 season! Many thanks to the players, friends, and families that came out to enjoy the rugby action and to the Brewhouse Café for hosting a great post match social. This was an opportunity to look back upon our team’s history and appreciate what fuels a High Country member – not just beer, but a sense of honor and the friendships that last well after our regular playing days. The High Country Grey (Old Boys) came out to a fast start in the match and were able to hold off a late run by the actives team to find themselves enjoying a well earned victory. We are looking forward to seeing The Grey play again together in the future and at the next annual holiday party in December. Cheers brothers!

High Country RFC - Fall 2015 Schedule
High Country RFC is pleased to release our Fall 2015 season schedule. We aim to build on the success of the Spring matrix season and to continue playing some great rugby in the city of Atlanta and Southeast. We’ll start the season with skills and conditioning work leading to a grudge match with the Old Boys of past years who put so much into this team. This will be followed by matches against some of High Country’s favorite rivals of past years and hosting startup Rome in their inaugural season as we continue to see this great sport grow.

High Country 7s to Begin Practice May 14
HIGH COUNTRY 7s PRACTICES WILL BEGIN THURS, MAY 14. Start time is 7:00PM, location Coan Park. We would like to extend an open invitation to those interested in competing with our squad this summer or getting some fitness and skills work in. We hope to continue to build on past years’ success.
