The following information is designed to provide you with the essential information to allow your transition into our club to be as smooth as possible:
GAMES:
Checking on our calender will give you the most up to date information on home and away games. Matches generally kick off at 1:00 pm, but all players will be expected to arrive an hour or more before kickoff to assist with setting up and marking the field. We car pool to away games and return to Atlanta in the evening.
POST GAME PARTY: It is a tradition in rugby for the home club to host the visitors for a beer or two (sometimes a lot more), after the game. Please feel free to invite family and friends to both watch the games and join us for the party – the more the merrier.
We will also host other social events (e.g. a Christmas Party and our weekend BBQ in the North Georgia mountains) from time to time. Again, you are welcome to invite family and friends to attend.
DUES & COSTS: Mens Team Dues:
$200 Dues Full Year $100 Social Members $50 Old Boys
Finally, remember that a club is only as strong as the commitment of all its members. This is very much your club even though you might be new. We all have a role to play in the success of this club, so take pride in being a member of High Country Rugby club, take ownership in this club, and join us being committed to its success both on an off the field.
