Thanks for the good attendance at practice last night (unfortunately, myself not included). There is much interest in the game for this weekend, but nearly as much confusion about it. Old White is hosting us and Columbus. Those two play the first game, but we all know that Columbus doesn’t travel well. So, be at the pitch (directions below) by Noon to help fill-in with them and be ready for our game that follows.
As previously mentioned, there is also a Boys & Girls Club parade Sat morning in the East Atlanta community at Brownwood Park. One of our main sponsors, Australian Bakery, plays a big part in the event and has asked some of us to walk in our jerseys. The parade starts at 10:30 and will end at 11:30. Meet at the park (map below) at 10:00. If you’d like, some of us are meeting for breakfast at the Bakery between 9:00-9:15. Please come to all you can in support of our sponsor.
