The 2002 Grinch 7's will be on December 7, 2002 at the Irmo practice fields in Irmo, Carolina.
A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will go to Palmetto Place, a home for needy children in Columbia, South Carolina.
We will have two divisions: Men’s and Women’s.
Each team is guaranteed 4 games (most will get 5) and we will play on three pitches.
Entry fee is $200 if paid by Nov. 29, 2002. If your entry is post-marked by November 29, 2002, we'll throw in a free case of holiday brew. The entry fee after Nov. 29 is $225. If your club enters two of more sides, the second team will receive a $75 discount.

Around the holidays, Palmetto Place is in dire need of Christmas presents to ensure that each child at the home receives a present from Santa. We encourage each participant to bring a present to the pitch. The present need not be wrapped. We will have a Christmas tree at the pitch for all of the presents. Each participant who brings a gift will be entered into a raffle, which will be drawn at the conclusion of the tournament.
The weekend's festivities begin on Friday, December 6, 2002 at Delaney’s Music Pub & Eatery, where we will host a pre-tournament party from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. On Saturday, December 7, we will have a Captain's Meeting at 8:30 a.m. The Tournament will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Each team is guaranteed four matches. The post-tournament party will be at Delaney’s, where we will provide lots of food and holiday brew and great music.
