The Georgia Rugby Union is running a story about the Atlanta Falcons hosting a Falcons Rugby Day The Falcon's have approached the GRU about doing a Georgia Rugby Day at a Falcon's home game.
We see this as an opportunity to promote rugby for the union. In addition to getting your team name and your players on the Jumbotron etc, it will open the door to playing an exhibition rugby game in the dome at half time, or possibly at the conclusion of a Falcon's game, next fall. Another rugby group does this every year at an Arizona Cardinal's home game and it has become a Cardinals Fan favorite. It has also been an excellent marketing tool for rugby and the Cardinals .
In order to take advantage of this, we will need the support of the LAU member clubs. The bigger the turn out the more our leverage in promoting a rugby game.

[email protected], if you think your club members would be interested in participating. Provided there is interest we (GRU) will try to come up with some incentive to help you get your players out to the game.
Ideally players would come dressed in their respective team jerseys and we would sit as a group in a mezzanine level section. Ticket prices reflect a group discount.
