Last night's [Tuesday's] practice was a good showing but we still need a better turnout. I know traffic sucked, but there are some faces I expected there that were not. If you know somebody that wasn't there, get on the phone and call them.
While it was only our second practice, I would like to ask that if you are going to show up, please be focused and attentive during practice. Individual lack of concentration and/or lackadaisical attitudes create a problem for me as a coach and diminish the efforts being put forth by others. This Thursday please be prepared to be focused and give 100%. Our first game is in 2 weeks.
Bring your mouth guards on Thursday. We will begin contact drills.
QUESTION:
I have been asked if we are going to have practice this Saturday. My question is does anybody want to. If so we can schedule a short practice on Saturday AM around 10.
I think this would be a good idea. I promise not to make it a torturous fitness session. If we get at least 10 guys it will be a go. Let me know what you think.
