MessageHey is there still a need for another rugby player on this squad in the spring? Or maybe you just need the dues... Anyway, I have been out of commission with surgery on my right foot & was in a cast for 7 weeks.  I was originally told that I would not be able to run marathons or even play rugby again.  Further, I was informed that I would not run as fast or jump as high as before.  I am glad I already set all those records at the combines already...then, 6 weeks ago, on another follow up visit to my orthopedic surgeon, I jokingly asked him if I could start practicing for rugby again.  He asked, "Aren't there multiple seasons?".  When I told him there were, he said the recommendation is to start back in the Spring.  So, I want to start with the Christmas Party (if I am still invited - but would have to come after 9pm), and go play football Saturday.  What say you...?
P.S. I told Flaherty to keep in touch regarding the Battleship Tournament, but he did not...

    For those of you who will be in town on Saturday, there has been talk of a getting little exercise via the gridiron.   
    The plan is to meet a Chastain Park around 1pm for a little 2 hand touch ( maybe tackle) football game.  Mitch, dont worry our rugby skills wont be compromised and at least we will be running,  except for me, as I will be playing QB.
