The Palmetto Rugby Union (South Carolina) and Myrtle Beach Kahunas Rugby
club are pleased to announce they will be hosting the Rugby Academy
October 23-24 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The Rugby Academy is much more than a weekend clinic. The weekend covers
all phases of the game and emphasizes playing skill and tactics. The
Coaches and instructors for the academy features players and coaches from
the ACT Brumbies and the Australian National Team.
The Rugby Academy was established :
** To help youth and collegiate rugby create it's foundation
and development in the high schools and universities in the USA.
** Prepare youth and collegiate rugby players for games, tournaments,
select sides and for the national youth team. i.e.: Eagles U19
   through to U23
** Prepare senior men and women's for select side tournaments,
   Eagle selections and/or tours.
** Offer up-to-date drills, game plays and warming up techniques.
** Provide coaches and referees camps.
** International academy exchange programs, and university scholarships.
** Offer invitations to various scouts in the super 12 academy's
   and/or premiership academy's.
This not an opportunity to be missed. The cost is very reasonable for
the quality of coaching you will be receiving, only $150. A trip
to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is also a treat for the whole family.
Over 100 golf courses, economical hotels and great night life
are featured in this great ocean front resort.
