Thanks to those who played Saturday at Woodward. The play was good and we also brought some new guys into the mix. But, it was definitely not the High Country team that placed 1st and 2nd last year.

Which brings me to my point. It's been six weeks since our run ended in Fla. It was a long season. We've all needed that time - and probably more - to bring our lives back to normal.

The summer sevens season is a chance for us to get in an occasional run while still having a little fun. Many have expressed interest, few have organized. We have Walker Park reserved for Wednesdays. We should use it or combine with another team to get a regular practice going.

Practice once a week and a Saturday or so a month is not much, but it would do us good heading into the fall season. If you're interested, be heard and come out.
