Thanks to everyone that showed up on Saturday morning. We had a good turnout and a productive practice. And congratulations to David Croft and the Kookaburras for their 101-10 demolition of the Carolina Tigers. A number of us went out to the game and had a very entertaining time.

Has anyone done any recruiting? We need to field two sides on a regular basis for the fall. If you don't want to play in two FULL games each Saturday, start recruiting!! Has anyone sent that email to their alma mater? ...Didn't think so.

Tuesday practice as usual. Please be on time (kitted up by 7pm not just getting there) BRING YOUR MOUTH GUARD!!

Saturday Sept 7th High Country A will play the 2000 Div III National Champions Battleship. In addition High Country B will play Montgomery A.

I want everyone to get on the phone and let's work to get as many people to practice as possible over the next two weeks. Think about who you haven't seen yet this fall and give them a call. We need to travel to Montgomery with two FULL sides.

Old Boys: We need you at practice!! Even if it is only once a week it will be a huge help. We need bodies to pack down against; We need wily veterans to challenge our young kids in semi opposed play. You can participate in the fitness part of training as much or as little as you care to. I would also like to have anyone interested come to Montgomery to bolster our B side and provide some on field leadership for our younger and/or less experienced players.

Sam, Alex, Matt, Tony, Jeff, - You guys have been a tremendous help. Can you get some of your cronies out? I'll buy the first round for any old boys that shows up to practice between now and Sept 7th.

These guys (among others) are MIA. Do you know how to contact them?

Christian, Joe from Emory, Sam Hendon, Eric Pfeiffer(?), Hix's Scrum Half friend from Arizona, Roman, Soccer Boy, Brenden, PJ, Bruce McClellan, Heavy Jeff, Jason Jellie, Belecz, JT, Seth, and a whole list of old boys.

Cheers!
Buddha
