The GRU has been perennial showcase event of Georgia's collegiate talent. This year's GRU will be held on the campus of Emory University. The tournament will include the following teams:
UGA x 2 sides
GT x 2 sides
Auburn x 2 sides
N Ga College
Emory
Kennesaw State
Jax State
Georgia Southern

Many of the players from these teams will be looking to continue their rugby careers after college. This event is a great recruiting oppurtunity for your men's club. The current game schedule is as follows:

Oct 12th Friday night - Two games each 25 min halves - 1 field
                                  8pm - 10pm

Oct 13th Saturday -   16 games on two fields 25 min halves
                               9am till 5:00pm

Oct 14th Sunday -  Two games 10am till 2pm
                           40 min halves

We would love to have your club participate by setting up a tent and talking to potential recruits. In exchange for this recruiting possibility, the GRU would like for clubs to provide water and ice. Also we will require announcers from each club willing to announce at least 2 games. Any literature that you may hand out must be reviewed and approved by GRU Executive Coordinator Rene Daniel. You will not be allowed to sell anything i.e. t-shirts, stickers, balls, etc. You may however give these items away.
