About Coach Nicolas Ambrosini
Born in Mendoza, Argentina, Coach Ambrosini came to the United States in the late 90’s after an accomplished playing career in his homeland as a forward. He started playing rugby when he was 12 years old with Tegue Rugby Club and developed a passion for the game that has lasted a lifetime. As a young player he made the Province Select side in 1992 and 1993. After moving to the United States he played for Atlanta Old White for 10 years followed by 1 year of competing for High Country. He then transitioned to coaching where he has made a great impact in the lives of many leading High Country to higher levels of play as the club’s head coach since 2014. Coach Ambrosini is seen as a respected and knowledgeable figure in the rugby community and is both a great teacher and a student of the game.
